Microsurgical Flap Procedure of the Hand

A microsurgical flap procedure of the hand is a surgery performed to cover a defect in an injured hand using skin along with the underlying healthy tissue of varying thickness harvested from adjacent tissue or another part of the body. The surgery is performed under microscopic visualization to ensure torn blood vessels and nerves are properly sutured back together again.

Wrist arthroscopy

Wrist Arthroscopy

Wrist arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure performed to view, diagnose and treat problems of your wrist joint. Your wrist is a complex joint made up of eight small bones called carpal bones. These bones are supported by connecting ligaments. Various conditions can affect your wrist joint such as carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoarthritis and others.

Carpal Tunnel Release

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition caused by compression of the median nerve in the wrist often associated with repetitive hand movements. It can lead to numbness tingling and pain. Severe cases of carpal tunnel syndrome which do not respond to conservative treatment can by corrected by a surgical procedure called carpal tunnel release that relieves pressure on the nerve.
